Mountain Ranch Horse is a four-event competition that was developed to prepare and showcase the ranch horse. Here in the Pacific Northwest, the average ranch is built on the mountain range. The average ranch horse crosses many difficult challenges in their everyday work; crossing over mountains, and tough terrain such as: rocks, sagebrush, logs, creeks, embankments, waterfalls, lakes, trees, and switchbacks to name a few. Each ranch horse has to be able to adapt to every situation to get the work done. At this clinic and show, each equine and exhibitor will develop and strengthen their adaptability and ranch skills.
